Home to the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater, Jefferson County (Jeffco) represents the best of the Colorado, located between the Rocky Mountains and Metro Denver Jeffco residents enjoy quick access to both urban and rural lifestyles, being just minutes from downtown Denver and all major arterial highways.

With 310 days of sunshine every year there is plenty of time to explore any of the 8 major ski resorts with 75 miles of Jeffco or the 107,203 acres of National Forest Land inside the County. The Jefferson County Open Space Program has itself preserved over 50,000 acres for future generations.

Prefer a more urban setting for entertainment? Jeffco has many centers for arts including the Foothills Art Center and the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. And with Metro Denver so close its easy to watch a Colorado Rockies game, visit the Denver Zoo, or find fine dining and night clubs.
